He is survived by: his children, Angela Martinez (Rey) of Port Charlotte, FL, Jeff Sharp (Liz) of Dallas, GA, Ken Sharp (Cindy) of Dallas, GA and Amy Sharp of Dallas, GA; his grandchildren, Brandon Benfield (Angela), Blake Benfield, Nathan Sharp (Alissa), Megan Dupree (Craig), Kirstan Poss (Clayton), Josh Sharp and Jacob Sharp; and his great grandchildren, Calvin, Mason Benfield, Hutson, Baylor, Cooper Sharp, Grayson Dupree and Beckham Poss. He is also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Salmon Funeral Home (2516 New Calhoun Hwy NE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens (2549 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165).
