He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Elijah Shepard and Catherine McDaniel Dixon; and his wife Bobbie Jo Brown Shepard. He is survived by: his children, April Shepard (Patty), Jimmie Elijah Shepard, Raymond Eugene Shepard and David Shepard; his siblings, Diane Shepard Bailey, Penny Dixon Sanders and Chip Dixon; and his grandchildren, Angel Shepard, Kaleb Shepard, Seth Fisher, Bethany Hamby, Miracle Shepard and Dorian Wilson. He is also survived by dogs; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to Clark Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
