With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Yarbrough of Dallas, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Malcolm T. Yarbrough; her parents, Bart Turner and Sophie Turner; and her former husband Lonnie Parham, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Lonnie Parham (Carol), Greg Parham (Margie) and Mike Parham (Yong); her stepson Richard Yarbrough; and her half-brother Bart Turner. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
