He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Porter and Ethel Mae Porter; and his wife Lucille Smith Porter. He is survived by: his children, John Houston, Kara Houston, Arthur Porter, Jr. and Etheyele Porter; his grandchildren, Arthur Lee Porter, III and Jakari Porter; and his brother Len Porter.
