He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine G. Pettus Lyons and Arthur Lee Elder, Sr.; and his cousin Robert Gipson. He is survived by: his aunts, Gloria Gipson and Joan Pettus; his cousin Byron Gipson (Keith Pettus); and his close friends, Theresa, Samantha Tidwell and Debra Hill. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
