He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ann Kiley Harkins; his wife Mary "Maggie" Magdaline Smith Harkins; his nieces and nephews, Amy Lynn Schwalls Latty and Thomas Alfred Harkins; and his brother-in-law David Cane.
He is survived by: his father Thomas "Austin" Harkins; his children, Candace Marie Fields Hall (Johnathon), Josh Smith (Brandi) and Keisha Smith; his grandchildren, Mary, Phenix Fields, Travis Hall, Trinity, Lacy and Jackson Smith; his siblings, Rita Cane, Paul (Wanda Harkins), Laney (Etta Harkins), Joe (Julie Harkins), Tammie (Bobby Champe), Tina Cunningham, Tonya (Carl Satterfield) and Venus Wilson; and his friend Melissa Ann Rodgers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533).
