He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Poole (Wayne) of Carnesville, Evelyn Adams of Athens, Grady Blackwell of Dahlonega, Marilynn Blackwell of Dahlonega, Daniel Blackwell of Dahlonega and Jeannette Welch (Billy) of Dahlonega. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
