It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Byrnes of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her son Timothy; and her siblings, Eileen and Ned. She is survived by: her husband John Byrnes; her sisters, Anne and Brenda; her brothers-in-law, Robert and David; and her daughter-in-law Alyson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson - Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (91 N Park St, Dahlonega, GA 30533).
