He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest F. Wimpy and Mae Pruitt Wimpy; his wife Annie Wimpy; and his brothers, Henley Wimpy, Carl Wimpy, Roy Wimpy, Jack Wimpy and Melvin Wimpy.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Miller (Danny), Doris Conner (Allen), Lynn Dale, Clint Wimpy (Ann) and Mike Wimpy; his siblings, Allen Wimpy, Jeff Wimpy, Wiley Wimpy and Marjorie Mason; his grandchildren, Blake Miller, Shaun Miller, Matthew Conner, Katie Conner, Joni Ross, Josh Wimpy and Erica McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Cohen Miller, Cora Miller, Madison Conner, Michelle Conner, Delilah Conner, Morgan Ellis, McKenzie Ellis, Peyton, Presley and Piper McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
