She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar T. Waters and Lela Chester Waters; her siblings, Meryl Frasure, Clayton Waters, Carlton Waters, Ralph Waters, Opal Southern, Joe Waters, Kenneth Waters and Wade Waters; and her siblings-in-law, Newil Kinnard and Jean Kinnard.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Kinnard of Dahlonega; her children, Melissa Thomson (Matt) of Dahlonega and Wesley Kinnard of Dahlonega; her grandchildren, Emily Thomson and Addison Thomson; and her siblings-in-law, Bertha Waters, Evelyn Waters, Joyce Waters, Jeanie Waters, Danny Kinnard (Ann) and Eddie Kinnard (Deborah).
