She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Lou Dezzie Smith; her children, Jimmy, Johnny Taylor and Teresa Taylor; and her siblings, Vernell Peck and Vernon Smith.
She is survived by: her husband James Emory Taylor; her children, Jerry Taylor (Rebecca), Lynn Lenderman (Gregg) and Joey Taylor (Tracey); her grandchildren, Scott Taylor, Tiffany Taylor-Sullivan, Jeremy Taylor, Josh Lenderman, Cassie Lenderman-Nix, Jason Taylor, Johnathan Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Chase Taylor and Ansley Taylor; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Darrell, Madalyn, Henry, Amelia, Josie, Lucy and Teddy; and her sister Marell Carder. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Yellow Creek Baptist Cemetery.
