He was predeceased by: his parents, Orby Hoisery Padgett and Annie Caison Padgett; and his sisters, Thelma Brown and Annie Ruth Piner. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ezzell Padgett; his sons, Jimmie Craig Padgett (Kim) and Rodney Darrin Padgett (Connie); and his granddaughter Taylor Nicole Padgett.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Park (9332 US-117, Willard, NC 28478).
