It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Jones of Dahlonega, Georgia, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zed Jones and Viola Mauldin Jones; his siblings, Dorothy Kate Jones and Roy Tyler Jones; and his wife Bessie Maude Brackett Jones.
He is survived by: his brother John Loy Jones; and his sister-in-law Jean Edwards Beck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
