He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Pruitt and Pearl Anderson Pruitt; his wife Hazel Dockery Pruitt; his sisters, Louise Pruitt Grindle and Wardye Pruitt Wimpy; and his nephews, Jack Wimpy and Melvin Wimpy.
He is survived by: his son Glyndon; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Pruitt; his daughters, Connie Pruitt (Patricia Cocciolone) and Lilburn; his grandchildren, Anthony Pruitt (Jonathan Grindle) and Alexandra Jones (Dylan Jones); his great grandchild Asher Jones of Dahlonega; his nephew Jeff Wimpy (Tracy); his niece Marjorie Mason; and his caregiver Roberta Hayes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
