He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Henry Ash and Ruth Esther Collins Egnor; his daughter Amy Ash; his brothers, Randall Ash and Gene Ash; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Dover.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ash; his daughters, Natalie Gunter (David) of Dawsonville and Janet Adams (Jeff) of Nicholson; his grandchildren, Grant Gunter, Genna Gunter, Ashley Dover and Jonathon Cowart; his great grandchildren, Tiffany Dover and Johnny McDaniel; his great-niece Isabell Lance; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn, Jerry Fuller, Wanda Dodd, Shane Dover, Michelle and Bruce Watts.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
