She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fields and Ruby Pruitt Fields; and her siblings, Corky Fields, Geraldine James and Martha Woodward.

She is survived by: her close friend Junior Cable; her children, Joanne Rider (Richard) of Dahlonega and Corky Reece of Dahlonega; her sister Mary Cantrell of Dahlonega; and her grandchildren, Melissa Perkins (David), Angela Voyles (Lanier), Corky Reece Jr., James Reece (Sarah) and Makayla Harris. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
