With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Margaret Waters of Dahlonega, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rider and Flossie Bell Rider; her husband Charles "Joe" Waters; her siblings, Hazel, Fay, Glen, Boyd, Betty, Louise and James; and her granddaughter Roxie Aders.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Waters (Sheba) and Rodney Waters (Stacie); her grandchildren, Stacia Pierce (Brent), Kate Turner (Max) and Kolby Waters; and her great grandchildren, Lexi Pierce, Summer Pierce and Olivia Turner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home (2068 US-19, Dahlonega, GA 30533). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
