It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Derrick of Dahlonega, Georgia, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Reese Derrick; her parents, Guy Calvin Beall and Callie Durham Beall; her siblings, James, Earl Beall and Mildred Beach; her granddaughter Cercre Spence; and her great grandchild Cameron Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Sue Derrick) of Sacramento, CA, Patricia (Gene Gawthrop) of Dahlonega, GA and Mark Derrick of Falls Church, VA; and her grandchildren, Janine Delmundo, Amy Watson, Sam Gawthrop and Kelly Kuchinski. She is also survived by great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
