She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Way and Thelma Way of Dahlonega. She is survived by: her husband Michael Lee Stewart; her son Michael Wade Stewart; her daughter-in-law Macy Echols Stewart; and her grandson Brantley Michael Stewart.
If anyone wishes to celebrate her life, the family suggests a small donation to the TLC Humane Society of Dahlonega, in lieu of any flowers. She supported this charity each Christmas, due to her devotion to animals of any kind.
