With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Whaley Sr. (Dahlonega, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whaley and Ellie Whaley; and his wife Shelba Dyer Whaley. He is survived by: his sons, Neal Whaley (Bobbie) and David Whaley (Belinda); his grandchildren, Jake Whaley, Kayd (Joni) and Thrasher; his great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Luke; his siblings, Franklin Lamar Whaley (Donna) and Betty Louise Shotts; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Dyer (Barbara).
