He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander "Zanders" Gaddis and Maybell Black Gaddis; and his nieces, Hannah Marie Gailey and Dana Catherine Gaddis. He is survived by: his wife Ann Edwards Gaddis; his daughter Gerri Gaddis Smith; his son-in-law Chris Smith; his son Roman Gaddis; his daughter-in-law Andrea Conarro Gaddis; his grandchildren, Owen Woody, Patrick Woody, Cecilia Woody and Tessa June Gaddis; and his siblings, Dennis Gaddis, Johnny Gaddis (Deb), Wayne Gaddis (Angie) and Tessa Gailey (Mark).
