She was predeceased by: her husband C. W. Pruitt; her parents, George W. Mathis and Mary Bennett Mathis; her daughter Fay Honeycutt; her grandson Dwayne Honeycutt; her siblings, James Mathis of Billy Mathis, G. W and Grace Higgins; and her children-in-law, Gloicie Pruitt and Mike Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Martin, Jean, Jeff Posey, Ray Pruitt and Joe Pruitt; her son-in-law Steve Honeycutt; her brother David; her sister-in-law Barbara Mathis; her sister Brenda; and her brother-in-law Ricky Sexton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
