He was predeceased by: his parents, Millie Elizabeth Spruill and Hubert Clyde Martin; and his siblings, Sybil Harrison (Horace), Martha Moon (Dennis), C. H. and Hershel.
He is survived by: his wife Rubye Mae Cole; his siblings, Benny, Barbara, Linda (Gerald), Brenda (Johnny) and Donna; and his siblings-in-law, Gail (Benny) and Wendall (Donna).
