He is survived by: his children, Fred Horne (Nancy) and Leah Anne McDaniel (Patrick); his grandchildren, Andrew Horne (Julia Park), Daniel Horne, Christian McDaniel, Meredith McDaniel, Shelley McDaniel and Allison McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Archer Horne and Maisie Horne.
