He is survived by: his wife Peggy Irene Deter of Dacula; his sons, Paul (Donna Deter), Charles (Donna Deter), Tim (Penny Deter) and Sam (Darla Deter); his grandchildren, Scott Deter, Chris Deter, Angela Frizzell, Heather Mashburn, Amber Meiser, Kate Deter, Grace Deter, Rene Deter, Samuel Deter and Hannah Deter; his great grandchildren, David Deter, T. J. Deter, Elliott Deter, Evan Deter and Christian Hicks; and his siblings, Ron Deter of Florida and Mary West of Ohio.
