He is survived by: his wife Mary-Elaine Kavanaugh; his daughters, Marlinda and Marisa; his son-in-law Kahron Hogans; his grandchildren, Maya, Michael, Kahron Jr. and Carin of New York; his siblings, Guillermo Kavanaugh (Suyapa) of Costa Rica, Virginia Kavanaugh of Honduras, Marcia Mullins of Jamaica and Betty Kavanaugh of Switzerland; his uncles, Ernest Polite of Texas, Junior and David Kavanaugh of Massachusetts; his aunt Dorothy Belcarris; and his siblings-in-law, Josiane Robinson of Florida, Alain Robinson and Claude Robinson of New York. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
