Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Macon Emmitt Gooch III of Dacula, Georgia, who passed away, on January 30, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Macon E. Gooch, Jr. and Mary Christine Gooch; and his sisters, Pennie Gettinger and Amy Poole. He is survived by: his wife Hellen Gooch; his children, Elissa Byrd (Andrew), Laura Shatzel (Michael), Nathan Gooch (Amy) and Jessica Driskell (Matthew); his brother Andrew Gooch (Debbie); and his half-brother Duane Gooch. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great grandson.

All are welcome to join us for a memorial tribute to Macon on Sunday, February 23rd from 12-6pm at the Duncan's Lake Pavillion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
