She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Layne and Mary Joy Sweatmon Layne. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Ann Layne of Dacula and Susan Layne Zakeri of Dacula; her nephew Aaron (Michele Zakeri); her great-nephew Walker Zakeri; her great-nieces, Marlee Zakeri and Cora Zakeri; her aunt Vivian Cortez of Madison; her uncle Samuel (Josy Layne); and her cousins, Tina and Billy Thomas. She is also survived by numerous other cousins and family.
