He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Grace and Charles Leo Rappold; his brother James "Jimbo" Rappold; his son Jeffrey (Sandra); and his brother Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Van Ess; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Lynnea Rappold of Del Norte, Colorado; his daughter Lindsay; his son-in-law Chris Brown; and his granddaughters, Madelyn of Hoschton, Georgia., Sadie of Hoschton, Georgia. and Caroline of Hoschton, Georgia.. He is also survived by his son, mother, both brothers.
