It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Tyree of Dacula, Georgia, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Tyree and John Coles; and his siblings, Ruth Whitehead, Katie Tyree, Charlotte Tyree, George Tyree Jr. and William Tyree.

He is survived by: his wife Gwedolyn Tyree of Dacula; his children, John Aaron Tyree and Amina Anum; his child-in-law Mosley Mamah of Ghana; his stepdaughter Sherri Stone of Raleigh; and his siblings, Eva Tucker, Dorothy Tyree, Jack Cook, David Cook, Gilbert Tyree, Finnie Tyree, Shirley Faulkner and Ida Jones. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
