“In loving memory of James H. Poynter. My sisters Aldora & Elaine and I send heartfelt sympathy to Jay & Jeff and their children. We are three of a small circle of first cousins on Jim Hoy’s mother’s side. In childhood he was always “Jimmy Hoy” to us. Only in adulthood did he become “Jim Hoy,” not just “Jim.” His mother and our father Seth were siblings. We share the loss.”
