With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris N. Newell of Dacula, Georgia, who passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nichols and Ina Nichols of Duluth, GA.; her siblings, Troy Nichols, Ernest Nichols, Larry Nichols, Katie Anderson, Mary Ellen Corley and Elaine Healan; and her grandsons, Micah Daniel Bragg, Marty Humphries, Hugh Clark and Clarence Newell.
She is survived by: her son Dorsey; her daughter-in-law Barbara Clark; her daughters, Cynthia (Jerry London), Ina (Jack Yarbrough), Sheila Hayes and Marsha Clark (Mike Tuggle); and her siblings, Nadine Lacy, Ione Wilson and Lathan Nichols. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
