She was predeceased by: her husband Giles M. Cheek; her parents, Rose Cruse (Butts) and Filma Cruse; and her brother Clyde Cruse. She is survived by: her children, Vaughn Cheek of Buford, Greg Cheek of Dacula, Derrick Cheek, Kim Mauldin of Lawrenceville, Jason Cheek of Lawrenceville, Jacquelyn (John Rapp) and Jennifer (Mike Smith); her siblings, Wayne Allen (Helen Cruse) and Kathy Cruse of Morganton; her sister-in-law Cathy Cruse of Morganton; her grandchildren, Alex, Colton Seckinger, Zoie Cheek, Ava Cheek, Wynn Cheek, JJ Rapp, Jonah Rapp, Jenna Rapp, Austin Smith, Landon Smith and Morgan Smith; and her great grandchild Millie Seckinger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
