He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lance and Bonnie Lance; his son Matthew; and his siblings, Kenneth Lance, Dan Lance, James Lance, Robert Shuler and Lillie Casey.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Mauldin Lance; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Gina Lance; his grandchildren, Jake and Kassie Kate Lance; his siblings, Harvey Lance, Jr. of Hoschton, Sally Phillips, Hill, Edith Henson, Myrtle Adams of Hoschton and Louise Givens; and his half-sisters, Gail and Joy Lance.
