He was predeceased by: his nephew Kenny Gummoe; his parents, Terry Barnes and Ruth Franklin Wagoner; and his parents-in-law, Lester H. Gummoe and Ann Sovis Gummoe.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kathy" Barnes; his brother Russell; his sister-in-law Eunice Barnes of Perry, GA; his sister Joyce Jairetz of Florida; his nephews, John David Jairetz, Kevin Barnes and Daniel Lester Gummoe; his niece Brenda Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Steven Thomas Gummoe, Richard Lester and Kathleen Gummoe.
