He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Glenn Whitt and Laverne Haley; his siblings, Loretta Laverne Gurewitz, Catherine Olivia Roberts and Dennis Dale Whitt; his son Eric Travis Whitt; his granddaughter Cassie Hunter; and his son-in-law William Hunter.
He is survived by: his brother Michael Glenn Whitt; his children, Glenn Whitt (Nicole Whitt) and Julie Hunter; his grandchildren, Angie Conley, Jamie Whitt, Marina Eich (Taylor), Summer Peterson (Austin), Jordan Whitt (Carol), Billy Hunter and Jeremy Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Stephens, Iris Peterson, Alaina Eich, Atlas Peterson and Claira Eich. He is also survived by extended family members, including nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518).
