It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carnethy Mitchell of Dacula, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Robert George Mitchell; her parents, Guy McElhannon and Lemma McElhannon; her siblings, Mell, A. G. McElhannon, Mary Dalton and Betty Hale; and her son-in-law David Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Lamb of Valrico, Florida and Jerry Mitchell (Donna) of Dacula; and her sister Mavis Burson of Lawrenceville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
