It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lorene Minton of Dacula, Georgia, born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Minton; and her parents, Leonard Frachiseur and Ozella Harbins Frachiseur. She is survived by: her children, James David Minton of El Paso, TX, Jeffrey Edward Minton of Sandy Springs, GA, Jane Ashley of Dacula, GA, Gregory Scott Minton of Atlanta, GA and Ginger Minton of Dacula, GA; and her grandchildren, Andrew Minton (Amy), Sarah Serwatka (Greg), Jamie Smith (Joe), Matthew Minton, Tyler James Minton, Samuel Robert Minton, Joshua Jeffrey Minton, Stephen Minton, Benjamin Ashley and Alexander Ashley (Ashley Michelle). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to Rock Springs UMC in Honor of Betty Lorene Minton.
