He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ellis Daniel; his sons, Dennis Ray Daniel of Brunswick, GA and Darryl Dale Daniel (Tina) of St. Simons, GA; and his stepson Playol K. Shippey, III (Adrianne) of Columbus. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
