She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wiley and Gladys Miriam Jordan Layfield, Sr.; her husband Benjamin Franklin Plowden, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Jane Garrett Plowden. She is survived by: her children, Pam Cleveland (Bill) of Ft. Gaines, Ben F. Plowden, Jr. (Deb) of Cuthbert and John Robert "Rob" Plowden of Cuthbert; her siblings, Maryann Horst of Panama City, FL and John Layfield, Jr. of Rockmart, GA; her grandchildren, Jackie, Julie, Michael and Natalie; and her great grandchildren, Mary Riley, Nix, Hayden and Gabe.
