He was predeceased by: his father Walter McKinley. He is survived by: his mother Linda Roland McKinley (John Proffit); his wife Martha Baker McKinley; his children, Tyler Bruce (Hannah), Brandon McKinley (Andrea) and Hannah McKinley; his grandchildren, Kolten Bruce, Mia McKinley, Leo McKinley, Fox McKinley and Nico McKinley; his siblings, Donna McKenzie (Allen) and Walter McKinley (Julie); and his sisters-in-law, Tami Watson (Jerald), Tonia Mullins (Tim), Michelle Quarles (Robby) and Andi Clayton (Shane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Home of Linda and John Proffit (166 Massey Rd, Cusseta, GA 31805).
