He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hurley and Agnes Spivey Chilson; his significant other Susan "Sue" Hurley; and his son Todd Hurley. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Landrum of Holly Springs, NC and Tiffany Roberts (Jim) of Cusseta, GA.; his sisters, Gwen Gamble of Smith Station, AL and Cheryl Rashkin (Bob) of Lakeworth, FL.; and his grandchildren, Conner Landrum, Kristen Landrum, Abigail Reyes (Gabriel), Jackson Roberts, Katelyn Roberts and Caroline Roberts.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
