He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Helton and Orvin Helton; and his brother Charlie Helton. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Helton; his children, Patricia Weathers (Terry), David Helton (Ricki) and Elizabeth Helton; and his sisters, Peggy Helton of Louisiana and Audie Helton Williams of Kentucky.
