She was predeceased by: her parent John Wesley Thorne, Sr.; her husband Bob Buford Spence; her sons, Danny Ray Spence and Bobby Buford Spence; and her siblings, Bobbie Jackson (Don) and John Wesley Thorne, Jr. (Dale).
She is survived by: her parent Ammie Canara Brown Thorne; her son Robert D. Spence; her grandson Nathaniel Spence; her nieces, Denise Jackson, Felicia Sanchez and Marisa Collier; and her nephew Dewayne Thorne.
