She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Monico Lugo Jr.; her parents, Sarah Villafane and Sam Villafane; her children, Monica Samoilenko and Anthony Lugo; her brother Sam Villafane; and her grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthony Jr. and Nadia.
