She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William B. Ryan and Helen Cusick Ryan; her children, Becky Crawford (Curtis) of Thomaston, Jimmy Thompson (Pam) of Miramar Beach, FL and Billy Thompson (Sandy) of Canton; her grandchildren, Bobby Thompson, Katie Thompson, Nate Crawford and Matt Crawford; her great grandchild Laurel Thompson; and her husband James A. Thompson, Jr.. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wreaths Across America, Georgia National Cemetery GANCCA, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, GA 30114., or the Thomaston Hospice Foundation, 512 South Center St., Thomaston, GA 30286.
