With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Norton (Cumming, Georgia), born in Defuniak Springs, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Twersky and Beverly Twersky; her aunts and uncles, Irwin, Dolly Turner, Ronald and Elizabeth Barksdale; and her cousins, Beverly Martin and Norman Barksdale.
She is survived by: her husband Willard Norton; her son John Norton; her daughter-in-law Ruthie Norton; her grandsons, Elijah Norton and Ethan Norton (Rachel Norton); her daughter Natalie Mawdesley; her son-in-law Scott Mawdesley; her grandchildren, Silas Mawdesley and Sadie Mawdesley; and her cousins, Vivian Daughtry, Ronnie Barksdale, Frank Barksdale, Elton Barksdale, John Barksdale, Charles Turner and Nancy Turner.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home (150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Agape Hospice Care of Cumming.
