With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Virginia Woody of Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Witherow and Ruth Witherow; her son Leonard Woody; her grandson Ricky Bruce; and her siblings, Richard, Willie Mae, Jessie Lee, Rosco and Herbert.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Woody; her children, Diane Parker (Scott), Leroy Woody (Jane), Susie Moore (Donnie Burruss) and Lonnie Woody (Dawn); and her sister Pauline Long. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home (210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
