She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob R. Burruss and Ruth Wallace Burruss; and her siblings, Robert Reeves, Vertie Lee Orr Burruss, Charles Edward, Maggie Burrus, Wilson Wilbanks, James Leland Burruss, Clifton Chamblee Strickland, Rebecca Johnson Burruss, Thomas Roscoe, Annie Nix Phillips and Jessie Edward.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to any Church for Vacation Bible School.
