We bid farewell to Kathryn Calabrese of Cumming, Georgia, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 17, 2024 at the age of 77. Kathryn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her brothers, John and Robert Groth. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, David (Heidi), James (Mindee) and Jared (Hillary); her grandchildren, Zachary, Mia and Egan; and her sister Beth Thorsen.
A memorial service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home (150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St Joseph Maronite Catholic Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either St Joseph's Indian School or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
